Graduation is more than just one day or party — it’s honoring a graduate’s years of hard work and dedication. Kadavu considers it’s important to honor our graduates.

On Saturday, May 31st, Kerala Association of Delaware Valley honors the Class of 2025 at Warwick Park during Kadavu picnic. All Kadavu family members are invited to attend and give wishes to our new graduates.

Meera Menon

Meera Menon is graduating Summa Cum Laude from Downingtown East High School. She is a member of the Spanish Honor Society and the Red Cross Club, and was a state finalist in the HOSA club. Meera participated in cross country and track and field for four years, serving as captain of the cross-country team in her senior year. She has a background in Bharatnatyam and has engaged in healthcare-related activities, including volunteering and shadowing in hospitals and clinics, as well as working at an EMT center. Additionally, she was the KADAVU youth sports activity coordinator for two years. Meera plans to attend DeSales University for an accelerated 3+2 BS/MS program in Physician Assistant Studies.

Michelle John

Michelle John is a graduate of Mount Saint Joseph Academy, where she held leadership roles such as President of the Student Medical Association, American Sign Language Association, and Software Development on the School Robotics Team. She received accolades including the FIRST Associations Dean’s List Finalist, Harvard Book Award, and Outstanding Musical Performance Award. Additionally, she was Editor in Chief of the Student Newspaper and participated in the National Art Honors Society, National Honors Society, Jazz Band, and the Select Advanced Choir, the Sweet Madelines. One of her favorite activities was cantering at her church. Michelle plans to attend Penn State University in Schreyer’s Honors College, majoring in Biological Engineering on the pre-med track with a minor in classical piano performance.

Pranav Menon

Pranav is a Summa Cum Laude graduate from Downingtown STEM Academy who will attend The University of Michigan to study Economics and Financial Math. He served as the National Eastern Region Council Programs Director for FBLA, impacting over 39,000 members, and founded the Botswana Outreach on STEM Initiative to enhance STEM education in lower socioeconomic regions of Botswana. Pranav has received multiple awards from FBLA and DECA and was recognized as a National Merit Scholarship Finalist. He is committed to service, acting as a lead peer mentor, SAT tutor, and founder of a Financial Literacy organization in Chester County, and served as the Kadavu Youth President from 2022 to 2024.

Advaith Nair

Advaith Nair is a Magna Cum Laude graduate of Downingtown STEM Academy and a member of the National Honor Society. He participated in DECA, FBLA, and TSA clubs during high school. Advaith’s favorite activities included learning and teaching Taekwondo as a 3rd degree Black Belt and playing electric guitar. He also volunteered over 100 hours as an intern at the Chester County Food Bank. Advaith plans to continue his academic journey at Northeastern University, where he will study Electrical Engineering.

Sanjita Nair

 Sanjita Nair is a graduate of Downingtown STEM Academy.She is a member of National Honor Society, National STEM Honor Society, TSA and President of Astronomy Club. She was a flutist in the Downingtown East Marching Band and performed in the Rose Parade.She is a trained Bharatanatyam dancer and Carnatic music vocalist, currently learning Nattuvangam. She also had the honor to perform at the Carnegie hall, New York. Sanjita is a third-degree black belt in Taekwondo.She has been a volunteer and staff at the American Helicopter Museum, where she was a panel speaker at the “Women in Aviation” workshop. Passionate about mentoring and volunteering, she tutors for the Hopewell Church’s “The Well” program and was an executive member of CamAthon-Cure for Cancer committee. With a strong interest in aviation and aerospace, she interned at AGI/Ansys and is currently training for her private pilot license. Sanjita is planning to study Aeronautical Science with Flight at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in Florida.

Sagarika Senthilkumar

Sagarika Senthilkumar is a Magna Cum Laude graduate of Downingtown East High School, where she was actively involved in the National Honor Society, Student Council, and the Girls’ Track and Field Hurdles Team. A Third-Degree Black Belt in Taekwondo, she taught classes as part of her community service, earning the Presidential Volunteer Service Award. Sagarika also volunteered at DASD’s DCEF Summer Experience Camps, participated in various service events, and was a member of Kadavu Youth for four years. Additionally, she worked as a swim instructor at her local YMCA, showcasing her leadership and community commitment. This summer, she will begin her studies in Cybersecurity at Pennsylvania State University, University Park, while continuing to engage in academics and extracurricular activities.

Pooja Menon

Pooja Menon is a graduate of West Chester East High School and a member of multiple honor societies. She held leadership roles in various clubs, including Vice President of the Society of Women in STEM and co-founder of the Key Club. As a trained and passionate dancer, Pooja founded a volunteering platform that uses dance to enhance the emotional wellness of seniors and patients with memory-related conditions, and she has also volunteered in graphic design and education. Pooja has received numerous academic awards including state and inter-state level science research and DECA competitions. Pooja plans to study Computer Engineering at Johns Hopkins University.

Anjela Jacob

Angela Jacob is a graduate of Conestoga High School and a member of several honor societies, including the National Honors Society and Tri-M Music Honors Society. She enjoyed tutoring with Stoga Study Buddies, served as secretary for Girl Up Conestoga, and was a board member of the Linguistics Club. Angela participated in both auditioned and non-auditioned choral ensembles, worked as a Peer Mediator, and took part in the school musical. She received the All School Scholar Award and was named Pioneer of the Month in April. Active in her church community, she served as the English Service Coordinator and volunteered as a Praise and Worship Teacher. Angela plans to study Neuroscience in the BS/DO program at Nova Southeastern University.

Sruthi Badrinath

Sruthi Badrinath is graduating from Downingtown STEM Academy with an IB Diploma and has held various leadership roles, including positions in Class Council, Student Council, and the National Honor Society. She was an active member of HOSA – Future Health Professionals, earning state and national recognition, and participated in the Kadavu Youth. Passionate about mentorship, she helped freshmen transition into high school through the Peer Mentoring Program. Outside of academics, Sruthi has studied Bharatanatyam for over 12 years, completing her Arangetram in Summer 2024, and is currently interning at a research lab focused on Women’s Health. This fall, she will attend the University of Pittsburgh’s Swanson College of Engineering in the Frederick Honors College Program, majoring in Bioengineering.

Keshav Kurup

Keshav Kurup is graduating from Conestoga High School. Over the past four years, Keshav has taken on meaningful roles and pursued interests that reflect both his passion for leadership and my drive to grow. As President of the Table Tennis Club, Keshav organized tournaments and built a welcoming environment that encouraged participation and improvement. Keshav also competed in regional events, earning 1st place at the Phoenixville Table Tennis Club and 2nd at Princeton Pong. As Secretary of the Young Economist Club, Keshav helped coordinate events and discussions that explored real-world economic issues, while his involvement in the Investment Club gave him hands-on exposure to financial analysis and market trends. Through the Interact Club, Keshav participated in community service projects that deepened his appreciation for teamwork and giving back. Keshav was also an active member of KADAVU, where he stayed connected to his cultural roots and traditions. This fall, Keshav will be attending Indiana University to major in finance.

Emmanuel Georgy

  Emmanuel Georgy is a graduate of Henderson High School, where he served as captain of the boys track and field team and was a 3-time Chest-mont finalist in the 110 and 300-meter hurdles. He played percussion in the school band for all four years and participated in an environmental club focused on cleaning local highways and streams. Emmanuel also competed in DECA and enjoyed playing golf, basketball, and fishing during high school. He volunteered with the Healthy Kids Running Series, assisting young children in races. Emmanuel plans to pursue a Bachelor’s in Finance at Penn State.

Aadarshini Vijesh

Aadarshini Vijesh is a graduate of B. Reed Henderson High School, where she served as president of the Model United Nations club for two years and participated in the Chief Science Officer program, promoting STEM education and expanding the initiative to 15 additional schools. A passionate dancer, she is a senior at Nardhana Academy, where she also volunteers as a student teacher, and has completed her arangetram in Carnatic vocal music in India. Aadarshini was actively involved in Kadavu Youth, serving as Co-chair for cultural activities and helping to organize the annual Youth Dance. This past summer, she interned for Senator John Kane’s re-election campaign, focusing on grassroots organizing and outreach. Aadarshini plans to study International Affairs and pursue a dual degree in Journalism at The George Washington University this fall.

Gowri Ramady

Gowri Ramady is a Magna Cum Laude graduate from Downingtown East High School, where she was an active member of DECA, HOSA, the Spanish Honor Society, and served as a secretary in the National Honor Society. She participated in various academic competitions, achieving international qualification, and was a Cadet Senior Airman in the Civil Air Patrol. In addition to being part of her school’s orchestra, Gowri volunteered on numerous school projects and engaged in community service through the National Honor Society. She also served as Vice President of Kadavu Youth for one year and as an advisor for another. Gowri plans to continue her studies at Elmira College in a 2+4 guaranteed physician program.

Pranav Menon

Pranav is graduating from Downingtown East High School, a significant milestone achieved through his determination and the support of the school’s Autism Support program. His Individualized Education Plan (IEP) has been instrumental in facilitating his remarkable progress over the past two years. Beyond academics, Pranav is an active and enthusiastic participant in Special Olympics events, and he proudly contributed to his team’s advancement to the 2024 State finals. Pranav will continue his educational journey with courses at Delaware County Community College while utilizing transition services provided by DASD.

Pranav Subramaniyan

Pranav Subramaniyan is a Summa Cum Laude graduate from Downingtown STEM Academy. In high school, Pranav was a member of National Honors Society and FBLA. He also competed in several clubs, with a 9th place finish in DECA and 2nd in the Chester County Academic Team league. Pranav’s favorite activity during his four years of high school was being a member of his school’s Chamber Orchestra, placing 2nd in Hershey’s Music at the Park and performing in Disney World. Pranav also volunteered at various Downingtown events and participated in community service through his association with the MPA and activities within his neighborhood. In addition to volunteering in Downingtown, Pranav also volunteered as a Kadavu Youth chairman for two years. Pranav looks forward to continuing his academic studies and extracurricular activities at University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, where he will be studying physics.
